Population; High educational attainment and direction
Description
This table contains figures on the direction of education of the highest attained educational level of the population aged 15 to 90 in the Netherlands, with the exception of persons in institutions, institutions and homes (institutional population).
The figures come from the Labour Force Survey (EBB).

Of a number of respondents, the direction of education could still be determined. As a result, the number of unknowns in the field of education has decreased slightly.
Changes as of 17 August 2022:
None, this is a new table. This table is compiled on the basis of the Labour Force Survey (LFS). Due to changes in the research design and the questionnaire of the EBB, the figures for 2021 are not necessarily comparable with the figures up to 2020. The key figures in this table have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the table Labour participation, key figures seasonally adjusted (see paragraph 4), in which the results for the period 2013-2020 have been recalculated to reflect the results from 2021 onwards. If the results are further detailed by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new method.
