Dairy cattle grazing; company size, region
Description
This table provides figures on the percentage of farms grazing dairy cows and/or their young cattle and figures on the percentage of dairy cows and female young cattle grazing. The grazing of dairy cows is divided by type of grazing (day and night / day). For each type of grazing, the average number of hours of grazing per day is shown. When grazing female young cattle, it is assumed that the animals are grazed day and night. The figures are broken down by size class based on the number of livestock units (LU) and by province.

Status of figures: The figures are final.
Amendment as of 19 April 2024: the final figures for 2022 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
The provisional figures are published in the third quarter of the year following the year under review, the final figures in the first quarter of the following year.
