OCS2D: Land cover in 2 dimensions - SCoT de Lille (MEL+CCPC) - 2005 - 2015 - 2020

OCS2D is the production of a two-dimensional land cover database in the Scot de Lille area. The SCoT comprises two entities:

• The European Metropolis of Lille (MEL), which brings together 95 municipalities for about one million inhabitants, a predominantly urban area (730 km2);
• The Community of Communes Pévèle en Carembault (CCPC), which consists of 38 communes with a population of around 100000 inhabitants. The landscape is mainly characterised by rural areas (350 km2).

The IGN 2020 orthophotography is the reference support for the 2020 update of the OCS 2D database 2005-2015 developed by photo-interpretation in 2017.
