Building up national balance of claims; N°, 1995-2016

Description

This table contains annual data on the calculation of the national receivables balance from gross domestic product. The national debt balance is the difference between the Netherlands’ claims abroad and the debts of the Netherlands to abroad. The national receivables balance shows how much the combined economic sectors of the Netherlands can lend or have to raise in terms of current and capital transactions. The macroeconomic variables in the calculation of the national receivables balance shall be expressed in value in actual prices and in millions of euros. Data available from 1995 to 2016. Status of the figures: The data from 1995 to 2015 are final. The data for 2016 is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 22 June 2018 None, this table has been discontinued. The Central Statistical Office has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used. This table containing data for revision has been replaced by table Building national receivables balance; national accounts.
