MRH eMobility

Description

At the end of 2014, the flagship project "Building a charging infrastructure for electric cars in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region (MRH) - HansE" was launched. A well-developed and as extensively built charging infrastructure as possible is one of the prerequisites for the further advancement of e-mobility. However, electric mobility does not stop at the city limits, so it makes sense to expand into the region in a coordinated manner. This is exactly where the project starts, the region is considered as a whole and the concept gives the opportunity to plan a strategic expansion in the region. As part of this project, the districts and counties of the MRH were called upon to supply existing charging stations for electric vehicles, which are used elsewhere via web map services. In addition, other sources were used to determine the location. They form the basis for these data sets.
