This table contains figures on deceased persons by sex, age and marital status among the population of the Netherlands. The data can be broken down by districts, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities.
The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities.
In the case of border changes that go beyond different regional boundaries, the classification of municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation.
For example: The municipality of Vianen was transferred from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht on 01-01-2002 and is grouped in this table in the province of Utrecht.

When will there be new figures?
In the 2nd quarter of 2025, the final figures for 2024 will be included in the table.
