Description
The table contains data on marriages (excluding partnership registrations) and marriages (excluding persons who have entered into a registered partnership) among the population of the Netherlands by sex ratio, age (on 31 December), marital status, marriage reference number and country of birth.
In the table, the data can be broken down into the following characteristics:
— Marriages by sex ratio and age difference;
— Marriages by sex and mutual marital status;
— Marriages by sex relationship and marriage reference number;
— Marriages by sex and country of birth;
— Marrying persons by gender and age;
— Persons marrying according to sex and marital status;
— Married persons by sex and number of marriages.
Data available from 1996 to 2020.

All figures in the table are final.
