Description
The Austrian Map online (AMAP online) is a web application with the contents of the cartographic
Models 1:50 000, 1:250 000 and 1:500 000, the overview map 1:1 million and data from the digital landscape model. In addition, data from the address register for the search for roads, places and addresses are included.
Suitability and use
• Search for locations and numerous other object types based on data from the Digital Landscape Model
• Search for addresses and coordinates
• Character key that adapts to the map scale shown
• Coordinate measurement in the reference systems WGS 84, MGI and UTM. Rounded to whole meters.
• Routes and area measurement
• Import of tracks
• Drawing routes with export function
• Height profile representation with details (e.g. distance, sum of altitude meters)
• Optional representation by means of cartographic models or orthophotos
• Display of coordinates at mouse click
• Printing functions
