REDIAM. WMS Suspended Solids Concentration Data in the Lower Guadalquivir River (2009-2010)
Description
WMS service corresponding to the set of concentration images of Suspended Solids (mg/l) covering the lower course of the Guadalquivir River, from the municipality of Alcolea del Río to its mouth. Obtained from geometrically and atmospherically corrected images of the Landsat 5 satellite captured by the TM (Thematic Mapper) sensor. A high concentration of suspended solids prevents the penetration of light into water bodies, limiting water quality and the development of aquatic life. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
