NP3h2021 Afforested areas
Description
The static theme. Displays data for the 2021 revised Natura 2000 baseline analysis 2022-2027 underlying the 2022 consultation of the Natura 2000 plans 2022-2027.
Areas subject to forest conservation obligations, cf. the Forestry Act. The theme shows current data as of 1/3-2020. The current data can be found in the cadastral map.
It is the Forest Act that determines which areas are subject to forest conservation obligations, cf. Act No 315 of 28 March 2019. The land subject to forest obligations is listed in both the cadastral register and the cadastral map. Virtually all public areas where forest is present or established are subject to forest conservation obligations. Private areas where forest is established will only be subject to forest conservation obligations if they are directly imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. The Environmental Protection Agency shall ensure that the obligation to preserve forests is recorded in the land register.
