Area types of the natural water balance

Description

The area types of the natural water balance describe a quasi-natural state of the water balance via the ratio of the long-term values of evaporation, seepage and runoff (N=ET+Au+Ad). The basis for the calculation is the outflow model ABIMO (BAfG) combined with GWNEU (meter). The area types refer to an agricultural and forestry use without settlement with the forest boundaries, the climatic conditions and the soils of today. There are 6 types: - evaporation-dominated (ET > 81%, Au < 14%, Ad < 20%) - seepage dominated (ET < 81%, Au > 14%, Ad < 20%) - Drain-dominated (ET < 81%, Au < 14%, Ad > 20%) - Evaporation and seepage (ET 73-81 %, Au 6-14 %, Ad 6-12 %) Ad 13-20 %) , Au < 14 %, The model results refer only to the top metre of the earth's surface. This must be taken into account when planning low-lying rainwater systems (e.g. rigolen) and must be re-examined if necessary.
