Subsoil - Subsoil sections German North Sea
Description
Knowledge of the geological conditions of the upper approx. 50 to 60 metres of the seabed is an important basis for professional geotechnical exploration and assessment of the subsoil in shallow marine areas. For individual areas where drilling data, pressure soundings and seismic measurements were available in sufficient quality and quantity, a total of 18 subsoil sections were prepared. In the profile sections with a total length of about 625 km, information on the bedding density and the nature of the North Sea subsoil is presented.
