Description
Wall hedges are protected in accordance with § 22(3) of the NAGBNatSchG. Wall hedges are historical ramparts with trees and shrubs. They must not be damaged or removed. Only local trees and shrubs may be planted on a wall hedge. Fences must not be built.
As a rule, the wall hedges serve or served as enclosures of land. The design of a wall hedge can be very different.
