Fixed points Location ETRS89 TP Deadline 01.10.2024

Description

For all fixed points, in addition to the coordinates in the system of the Austrian National Survey (use system of the Military Geographical Institute = MGI), the coordinates in the globally stored international European system ETRS89 are successively determined in several stages of realization of different accuracy. The approximately 59,000 triangulation points (TP) form a three-dimensional point network throughout Austria with an average distance of about 1.5 km. About 270,000 switch-on points (EP) with an average distance of 500 m were derived from these TPs. Reference date = creation date: The data for this day is the most up-to-date database of the BEV. This is not the same as the date of recording or surveying.
