AVV-DatA coding catalogues for the transmission of data in the field of food safety, veterinary and consumer protection
Description
The competent authorities of official food and veterinary supervision take samples of the test material (e.g. food). The results of the sampling are forwarded to the BVL as a data set. In the BVL, a review is carried out for the EU Commission and the Federal Government. The results of the sampling are transmitted in a defined reporting format. For individual fields in the reporting format, encodings from coding catalogs are used. The currently used catalogues are also published at https://skada.bvl.bund.de/skada-prod/ (by prior registration). There it is possible to navigate "through the catalog" via the web application and create an encoding.
