Description
WBE area changes are tracked in the FRS (Fauna Registration System). As a result, there is only one national digital file. WBE border corrections are made once a year, because a change in a WBE border affects many places. For example, a border change has consequences for the maps in the FRS and the damage history known to BIJ12 based on postal codes. In addition, Water Boards use the WBE limits for the rental of hunting to WBEs. The new updated WBE limits are also provided to the provinces for the purpose of drawing up the fauna management plan and are published annually by the provinces.
