Reptile inventory: Focus areas examined
Description
The canton was divided into 125 square sectors with 4 km side length. In each of these sectors, at least one part of the landscape (object) was searched for reptiles. With a prepared log sheet, as many areas as possible were recorded on which reptiles were observed or suspected. These areas, which can be demarcated in the field, were referred to as sub-objects. A total of 198 objects with 1165 sub-objects were logged. At 1643 sites, 3,799 reptiles were observed. In addition, there were 900 clues with 2010 reptile observations from the population. Survey period 1987 to 1989. The inventory is tracked every 10 years.
