Weather forecast for HARMONIE-AROME
Description
The data includes the latest weather forecast data produced using the HARMONIE-AROME weather model produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute. The data covers, for example, basic weather conditions close to the ground, such as 2 m temperature, 10 m wind speed and direction, surface pressure, cloudiness and precipitation. The Harmonie-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a prediction length of 66 hours. Harmonie-AROME is a so-called restricted area model with a calculation area covering the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice spacing used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used in the calculation of the model is in Lambert’s projection.
