Helicopter-borne Magnetics (HMG) Area133 Jever
Description
BGR conducted within the project „Airborne geophysical surveys for mapping the shallow subsurface in Germany “ (D-AERO) airborne surveys at the German North Sea coast. The survey area Jever (2009/14) is bounded by the coast to the north and northeast, by the City of Wilhelmshaven and motorway A27 to the east, by Friedeburg to the south, and by Werdum to the west. The size of the area is about 490 km². The area was surveyed with 13 flights totalling to 2139line-km (565,733 survey points). The nominal separation of the 90 N-S lines and 13 E-W tie lines was 250 m and 2000 m, respectively. The map displays the anomalies of the magnetic field of the earth.
