Description
The Plan of Meaning shows the network of the most important spaces for public life from the point of view of foot traffic and clarifies the hierarchy of public urban spaces. It is therefore an important planning tool. The level of meaning indicates how far (city-, nationwide/international) the radiance of the designated public urban spaces is. Accordingly, the quality of stay should be high and the demands of foot traffic should be taken into account with suitable design elements such as coverings, benches or greening according to the element catalogue.
Purpose: Planning basis
