Description
The map shows the tertiary aquifers found under the glacial sediment sequence with an intermediate main separation layer. These are in all cases loose rocks. With the exception of salt dome areas and high altitudes of the Old Tertiary towards Fehmarn, they are widespread in large parts of Schleswig-Holstein. They reach sometimes large widths up to >100 m.
