Description
The guideline serves as an introduction to comprehensive guidelines and recommendations on information security intended for use by the Government’s Information Security Management Group (VAHTI). This guide deals with information security, especially from the point of view of its management.
The Guide replaces the previous VAHTI publication 1/2001 General Guide for Information Security Work of the State Authority. Instead of a regular update, the instructions were thoroughly revised because the VAHTI guidelines have expanded significantly since the previous guideline. The aim of the guideline was to take, for example, the revised standards and best practices. The purpose of the new guideline is to guide the management of information security, provide an overview and serve as a source work for other VAHTI guidelines. (7.9.2011)
