Andalusian Inventory of Georesources, 2011 (Downloadable CD)
Description
The Andalusian Inventory of Georesources of 2011 is the result of the update of the Catalogue of Sites of Geological Interest of Andalusia of 2004. 74 new georesources have been included, bringing the total to 662. This update, whose work was completed at the beginning of 2011, is the result of the effort and collaboration of numerous experts and researchers in the field of Geology and Earth Sciences, the participation of specialized technical teams and the involvement of different administrations, technical scientific institutions and other organizations.
The CD of the Inventory of Georesources of Andalusia 2011 contains an application for the location of Georesources on a viewer of the Andalusian territory. Each georesource has attached a descriptive sheet with its location on the digital orthophotograph of Andalusia, geological context, situation in the RENPA and levels of protection and valuation from the scientific, didactic and tourist point of view.
