Description
The object area DLM – Geographical Names includes the coordinative reference points (with attributes) of currently more than 215000 names of Austria:
1) Settlement names (cities, villages and individual objects)
2) Area names
3) Mountain names (mountains, mountains and valleys)
4) Glacier names
5) Water names (rivers, streams, lakes and ponds)
With “GeoNAM”, the most comprehensive geographical name database of Austria is available for a quick location search and statistical queries.
