Digital Model of Land MNT LIDAR 2014 and OrthoExpress 2014 on the Aquitaine Coast
Description
A 1 m Digital Terrain Model was developed by the IGN based on a LIDAR survey launched in autumn 2014 as part of a partnership between BRGM and IGN for the Observatoire de la Côte Aquitaine; the aim is to monitor the evolution of the Aquitaine coastline. This survey was coupled with aerial shots for the development of a 10 cm resolution orthophotograph. The MNT is cut into 604 square slabs of 1 km. Overall, the right-of-way corresponds to a minimum band of 200 m on either side of the coastline established by the Observatoire de la Côte Aquitaine.
