Biocenosis monitoring stations (2012-2027) — Sélune Observatory
Description
As part of the Sélune Observatory, pilot stations along the Selune River, distributed from the upstream to the downstream of the hydroelectric dams, were arranged.
Aquatic biocenoses (including benthic macroinvertebrates, biofilms, macrophytes, etc.) are followed. These stations make it possible to compare the evolution of aquatic biocenosis within the reservoir with that upstream and downstream of the dam.
Physico-chemical characteristics are also monitored at these stations, with monthly measurements of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity.
