Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia, 1999 (NOAA AVHRR)
Description
NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) satellite images captured by the AVHRR (Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer) sensor that have been calculated the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), which based on the contrast between the red and near-infrared bands of the spectrum, highlights the vegetation coverage and its vigor over large areas. It consists of 117 images from 1999 with a spectral resolution of 1 band and a spatial resolution of 1100 m.
