National Observatory of Lowlands - Annual Bulletin

Description

Created by the National Office for Water and Aquatic Environments (Onema), the National Observatory of Water Levels (Onde) has a dual objective: have stable knowledge of summer lows, and help manage drought situations. The system, harmonised throughout metropolitan France and sustainable at national level, makes it possible to collect visual observation data on the flow status of watercourses, in particular during the summer period. This task has been carried out since 1 January 2017 by the French Biodiversity Office. The purpose of the annual bulletin is to present the status of the summer flow of watercourses for a year based on observations made by AFB staff (until last 2016 they were still Onema staff).
