Animal manure; production, transport and use; key figures, 1950-2017
Description
The table provides information on the production and use of animal manure and the minerals nitrogen and phosphate present in the manure. Figures are also included on the part of the excreted nitrogen volatile in the form of ammonia and other nitrogen compounds. The use of nitrogen and phosphate on farms is derived from manure production and the difference between manure supply and disposal. The use is related to the available placement space at farms. The manure that is not used on farms is processed or exported abroad in another way.
