Description
This table contains figures on the use of plant protection products in agriculture. More specifically, it concerns the protection of plant production in arable and horticultural sectors. The figures are broken down by active substance and type of application.
For definitions of active substance and application group see paragraph. 2 Definitions and explanations of symbols.
In addition to the total use of the active substances, the table shall also indicate the area on which the specific active substance was used.
Data are also available to CBS on the use of the total amount of active substance per crop and cultivation sector and on non-chemical control such as mechanical and biological control methods. These figures can be found in three other tables (see paragraph 3. Links to relevant tables and articles).
