Fruit growing; surface fruit orchards, type of fruit 1992-2016
Description
This table contains data on the growing area of fruit orchards in the Netherlands. The following types of fruit are distinguished: apples, pears, stone fruits (plum, sweet cherry, sour cherry), small fruit (blue berry, blackberry, raspberry, redcurrant, wine grape, blackcurrant) and nuts.
This is only about open land cultivation areas. The cultivation of fruit in greenhouses does not count.
Data available from 1992 to 2016.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the years 1992 to 2015 are final, and the figures for 2016 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised.
