Table of pay scales for permanent civil servants. The table contains the following information:

Notes: (a) The deductions relate to State officials holding a permanent and pensionable position. (b) Taxation is calculated on the basis of income and deductions without taking into account any other income or other tax exemptions/deductions. (c) In calculating the annual deductions, there is no flat rate on 13th salary for the Pension Plan and the widows’ Fund. In addition, the directors of departments/services with scales A15 and A16 shall receive an additional accommodation allowance of EUR 3.570 per year and directors on a scale of EUR 15 (I) per year shall not be detached on a 13th salary from the Social Security Fund if their annual earnings (12 months) exceed the relevant threshold.
