Fruit growing; harvest and growing area apples and pears by region, 1997-2017
Description
This table contains data on the Dutch harvest of apples and pears and the corresponding growing area of apple and pear trees. The data are broken down by variety and fruit growing region. As of 2016, participation in the survey has been made compulsory for growers. The response is therefore higher than in previous years, which can lead to trend breaks.
Data available from 1997 to 2017.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the years 1997 to 2016 are final, and the figures for 2017 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
