Depth of base bottom chalk in duck beak
Description
The base surface of the lower chalk reaches depths in the duck beak between 1250-4 000 m. In the central area and in the northwest of the duck beak, the lower chalk is not preserved except for some relics. The largest depth of about 4 000 m is reached in the northeastern duck beak along the border with the Danish North Sea sector.
