Description
The city of Bochum maintains and protects its trees. But urban trees also have to be felled if they are no longer traffic-safe due to ageing, illness or storm damage and pose a threat. Likewise, construction projects may necessitate precipitation. In addition, a number of replacement and new plantings of trees on urban areas are carried out every year.
These measures can be viewed — with the exception of storm damage — in the tree fall and tree planting cadastre of the city of Bochum.
