International trade; import and export history 1917-2016
Description
This table contains a time series of figures on international trade. In this table, the Dutch import and export value is broken down by commodity categories (SITC sections), energy, and a number of countries and continents.
Data available: from 1917 to 2016.

The figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 5 April 2018:
None, this table has been discontinued.
Changes as of August 7, 2017:
The final figures for 2016 have been added.
As a result of progressive insights, trade flows have been revised since the 2015 statistical year. As a result, total exports of goods (non-real) are 8 billion euros lower. For total goods imports, this is 10 billion euros less. As a result of the revision, 2015 figures are not exactly comparable to those in 2014.
In addition, the 2015 import and export figures removed the values of postal and tax stamps (49070010), banknotes (49070030), monetary gold (71082000) and coins (71189000) in accordance with Eurostat’s Foreign Trade Statistics (FTS) Regulation. This has been corrected in this version.
