National Monumental Transformer Houses
Description
On this map are the transformer houses that are protected as a national monument. A transformer house is a small building that houses one or more transformers to convert high voltage to low voltage for supply to households and businesses.
The map is based on the Monuments Register, which is managed by the National Cultural Heritage Agency. This dataset includes 110 unique records of transformer buildings.
