Average household assets, 1993-2000
Description
In this publication, average household assets are
displayed. In addition, households per 25 % group of disposable
household incomes differentiated according to characteristics as composition
of the household, main source of income, age of
main costwinner, 10 % group of assets and province.
The results relate to all private households in
The Netherlands. Persons residing in homes or establishments are
left out of consideration.
The results are based on data from the Income Panel Study
(IPO). The IPO consists of a sample of about 75 thousand
households with over 200 thousand people. These households are
data collected every year. The power data are mainly
from the administration of the tax administration. As with all
sampling studies may generally deviate from the
actual but unknown values of the
population magnitudes. This serves when interpreting the data
to be taken into account.
