This table provides data on the size class of the deceased’s left-over property by sex and marital status. The series has been discontinued as a result of a new set of figures on inheritances and acquisitions.

Status of the figures
The figures for the years 2005-2009 are final.
The figures for 2010 and 2011 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.

As of 2010, the levying of the inheritance tax and the inheritance tax declaration have been amended. As a result, the data of the estates and acquisitions are
as of 2010, not entirely comparable to the 2005-2009 data.
The series in the new set-up is expected in mid-2017. This new series contains figures for the period 2005 to 2014.
