Description
Catalog of Important Areas for Daytime Raptors, AIRIBs, a technical and informative tool (not of legal protection) that offers information on sensitive areas for both breeding and migratory raptors. It accurately visualizes the defined AIRIBs and their type: 1) Raptor breeding habitats, including both coastal and inland cliffs, where cave raptors nest, as well as dense forests where forest raptors nest; 2) Raptor migration habitat, these are areas frequented by raptors during their prenuptial (spring in the north) and postnuptial (autumn in the south) migration.
Mapping of the areas where overhead power lines must have special insulation measures or increased visibility to avoid electrocutions and collisions, in accordance with the specifications. techniques of RC 1432/2008.
