Fixed points Location ETRS89 EP Date 1.4.2023

Description

For all fixed points, in addition to the coordinates in the system of the Austrian National Surveying (Use System of the Military Geographic Institute = MGI), the coordinates in the globally stored international European system ETRS89 are successively determined in several stages of realisation of different accuracy. The approximately 59.000 triangulation points (TP) form a three-dimensional point network throughout Austria with an average distance of about 1.5 km. From these TPs, approximately 270.000 switching points (EP) were derived with an average distance of 500 m.
