Bird impact on glass surfaces - Test report Birdshades ® Vienna
Description
On behalf of the Viennese Environmental Attorney's Office and the Swiss Ornithological Institute, a UV pattern designed by Birdshades® and applied to glass was examined. The sample was tested at the Biological Station Hohenau Ringelsdorf, by DI Martin Rössler and Theresa Böckle, MSc, after the WIN test and achieved a result of 36% approaches to the test disk. Thus, the pattern is considered statistically effective, but not as a highly effective bird protection pattern, as defined by ONR 191040. The Viennese Environmental Attorney's Office recommends only the use of highly effective patterns according to ONR 191040 for bird protection markings
