Ascent field

Description

The compound type refers to road sections that have increased road width in larger slopes to facilitate accessibility. Climb fields are in some cases signposted, and marked with painting on the roadway. However, an increased road width is crucial if the climb field is registered. The purpose of the data product is to show which road sections have extra lanes for slow-moving vehicles in steep slopes.
