Bathing water quality in Braunschweig
Description
The health authority monitors the hygiene of bathing water in order to protect the health of bathers in accordance with the EU Directive on the quality of bathing water. (NDS. GVBl. No.3/1999 of 05.02.1999) During the bathing season between 15 May and 15 September, samples are taken at the bathing lakes for microbiological examination.
