Bridge (data type 261 in the Road Register)

Description

The data covers the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. All bridges over which public roads cross are entered in the road register. Pipe bridges are also registered, except in the case of a water-related drum of less than 2 metres in diameter. If the bridge crosses the road, it is taken into account from the point of view of the road in question only with the data type of the underpass (262). The bridges of the pedestrian pedestrian path along the road will be registered at the fairway in question. The road address of the bridge shall be determined on each roadway in the inventory direction at the first and in the width of the road at the outermost thunderstorm. If there is no thunderpillar, let’s imagine it at the beginning of the deck (sports seam etc.). For intersecting bridges, the address is determined by the centre lines of intersecting roads. When the bridge is on the ELY border, the bridge is entered only in the register of the ELY Office responsible for the bridge. The basic information on the bridge is updated automatically from the bridge register for the data type after the bridge has been first added to the road register and connected to the bridge register.
