Monument protection statutes (WFS Service)
Description
Representation of the areas within the urban area of the state capital Dresden, which are protected under the Saxon Monument Protection Act (SächsDSchG). Despite the enormous destruction in the city centre, Dresden still has extensive urban areas, the structures and buildings of which have survived the war and the GDR era well. Some of these areas with high architectural, urban or landscape quality are thus designated as heritage areas.
