DATASET Regulation for conservation of Posidonia oceanica
Description
Areas with Posidonia oceanica meadows and, by default, delimitations of Decree 25/2018 of July on the conservation of Posidonia oceanica. Includes data from the Ecocartografico 2011 del Ministerio de Transición Ecológica project, revised by OBSAM cartography in Menorca and with revisions by TRAGSA with the orthophoto and Sonar d'Ecombrat Lateral (SBL)
This cartography of Posidonia oceanica has effects for the conservation of biodiversity and the purpose of preventing the impact of anchoring on the seabed. In these areas the skipper will not be able to drop anchor on the seabed.
It also includes High Value Zones (zones included in annex 1 of the decree and where buoy fields or individual buoys cannot be enabled) and Regular Zones (zones included in annex 1.2 of the decree)
