Description
This table contains key figures on marriages and partnerships among the population of the Netherlands.
In the table, the data can be broken down into the following characteristics:
- Closing of marriages by mutual sex;
- Married persons by sex and marital status;
- Average age at marriage by sex and marital status;
- Average number of marriages per person by sex;
- Partnership registrations by mutual sex.
Data available from: 1950
Status of figures:
All figures shown in the table are final figures.
Changes as of 24 May 2024:
The figures for 2023 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
In the 2nd quarter of 2025, the final figures for 2024 will be included in this publication.
