Childcare - Places

Places in day care facilities in the 15 districts and the whole city by different categories for the years from 2018.

The number of childcare facilities for children refers to the available places in the facilities and day care for children. The playgroups are listed separately, as they are a valuable, complementary form of offer, but do not meet the legal claim to a childcare place due to the lower scope of care.

The data come from the Social and Youth Welfare Office of the City of Konstanz on the reference date of 1 March of the respective year.

In principle, it must be taken into account that the catchment area of the individual care facilities goes beyond the city limits.
