Description

Protected areas based on nature conservation law in the state of Bremen The dataset includes the protected areas of the Land of Bremen, which have been designated on the basis of national conservation laws and the EU Directive 2009/147/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on the conservation of wild birds and Council 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora. The protection categories found in Bremen are: Nature reserves, landscape protected areas, fauna flora habitats (FFH) areas, EU bird sanctuaries.
